My name is Ivette Lopez and I’m a multimedia journalist that producing content in and around Los Angeles. My job basically lets me do two of my favorite things: talk out of my elbows with super interesting people and then write about them. I also teach a group of really cool kids about journalism at Venice Arts, a non-profit dedicated to teaching young adults about media production. Our class collectively interviews people in the community and edits really dope news reels for everyone to see.
In my spare time, I hop on the very crowded expo line to USC where I’m working towards a M.A. in Strategic Public Relations. I am also a self-proclaimed horchata connoisseur that loves karaoke and jamming on the piano and guitar with my 11-year-old sister.
